When the itch to refresh and redo rooms, office space, pieces of furniture starts to gnaw away at the back of my mind, I think of my good friend Sam Abbas and head down to their delightful atelier. There, over several cups of coffee, Sonia and I will chat and throw ideas into the hat. On my next visit several delightful shapes and form, fabrics and textures have taken on a solid form and we agree to go ahead. The waiting period, however short, is interminable, so great is the itch to see it in its rightful setting. The Sam Abbas Studio can be relied on to deliver spectacular results. Years later, looking idly at the space created with such flair, at the piece of furniture that was meant to grace that particular room, you always get that jolt of pleasure. The look is artful and balanced, one that blends in harmony and yet stands out. You’re the best in the business, Sam and Sonia, and may you shine always and forever.
