Our firm is over 4 and half decades old. Our profession requires an aesthetic yet practical, sturdy, well lit and tech friendly office. When we were renovating & redecorating, it was pertinent yet confusing for us to preserve and balance the culture, prestige of our firm and profession whilst having efficient usage of space and conforming with requirements of technology. Sam Abbas came to our rescue. We were skeptic that Sam Abbas being synonyms with luxury and bespoke interior might undermine the practicality of an office space. But we were proven wrong. The team transformed an empty hall into multi purpose, hi tech, bespoke conference rooms and a breathtaking library. From the detailing of the entry to the actual rooms was impeccable. The incorporation of technology into the efficiently tailored rooms, reflecting the culture, elegance, depth and requirements of our profession left us mesmerised. The materials used were both elegant yet practical. Every space was given a function. All requirements were beautifully incorporated. Their team is proficient, talented and professional. When the itch to refresh and redo rooms, office space, pieces of furniture starts to gnaw away at the back of my mind, I think of my good friend Sam Abbas and head down to their delightful atelier. There, over several cups of coffee, Sonia and I will chat and throw ideas into the hat. On my next visit several delightful shapes and form, fabrics and textures have taken on a solid form and we agree to go ahead. The waiting period, however short, is interminable, so great is the itch to see it in its rightful setting. The Sam Abbas Studio can be relied on to deliver spectacular results. Years later, looking idly at the space created with such flair, at the piece of furniture that was meant to grace that particular room, you always get that jolt of pleasure.
